POPIA §69 requires opt-out consent for direct marketing to natural persons. Every marketing email we send:
Unsubscribes are honoured immediately and permanently. Suppression lists are maintained indefinitely.
The follow-up messages and the writing tools are drafted by AI. To do that, we send the customer's name, the job, the value of the quote and how you write to Anthropic, who run the model. They process it outside South Africa and do not use it to train anything.
Nothing goes out without you. Every message waits until you read it and press send. If you later choose to let them send automatically, we tell you plainly what that means first, and you stay responsible for anything that goes out under your name. You can switch it off at any time.
When you upload a quote for us to read, we send the text of that document, which includes the prices you quoted your customer. That is how it gets read.
We never send your cost list, what you pay your suppliers, or your margins. Those are worked out on our own servers and never leave them.
Sign in and open Billing. It lists every quote, customer and price list item on your account, and what else we keep. If you would rather we sent it, email us and we will do it within 30 days, free of charge.
If your information is ever exposed, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as soon as we know. We will explain what happened, what was affected, and what we are doing about it. We will not sit on it and hope you do not notice.
